12 ounces of penne pasta

1 pound of shrimp (precooked, thawed)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, sliced (or more if you love garlic)

1 cup white wine

Juice from 1 lemon

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon basil

½ to 1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper (or more if needed)

Fresh basil leaves (to garnish)

Cook pasta, drain, and return to pot along with 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter.  Mix, cover, set aside.  In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil.  When hot, add garlic, precooked shrimp.  Cook about 2 to 3 minutes.  Add white wine, lemon juice, basil, oregano, salt and pepper, and stir.   Cook about 2 to 3 minutes more.  Remove from heat.  Add shrimp mixture to pot with pasta and stir together.  Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
